Common Name: Daylily

A hybridizing milestone with incredible achievement in color

  • 6", deep purple tepals with a silvery-white halo that radiates out onto the tepals
  • Small lemon-green throat and dark purple stamens
  • Strong, sturdy plants with superior candelabra branching and a heavy bud count
  • Excellent grower
  • Blooms in midsummer
  • Extended bloom--flowers last at least 16 hrs. each
  • Tetraploid

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot such as: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
