This Bailey Nurseries introduction was selected from a cross between Japanese green barberry and Korean barberry. It combines the hardiness, better flowering and fruiting characteristics of Korean with the plant habit of Japanese. The outstanding red to red-purple fall foliage turns early and remains well into fall before dropping.
